Building for the middle class
On Curaçao, the demand for real estate and terrains is growing at a spectacular rate. Among the middle class, there is a growing demand for affordable housing.
Private Home Plan (EWP)
To satisfy this demand, the government and Private Home Plan (locally known as Eigen Woning Plan, EWP) started to work together in 1997. Their cooperation is a ‘Public Private Partnership’ (PPP), which means that the government provides the terrains and EWP develops the neighborhoods and homes. The 229-home project at Cas Cora Nobo and the “Cayena Gardens” with 45 homes in Mahuma were realized in this way.
In December 2007 EWP started to sell a new project at Brakkeput. Here 198 houses will be built and it is situated between Cas Grandi and Brakkeput Mei Mei.
Beyond all expectations this beautiful project “Bista Musikal” is sold out.
The only three houses left are of the model Serenada Deluxe .
